Summary: Charles Unwin, a clerk in a detective agency, is promoted after his boss is murdered and a detective goes missing. Now a detective himself, Unwin seeks out the whereabouts of the missing detective, as all as those who murdered his boss. However, things quickly turn sour for the novice gumshoe, as he is framed for murder and on the run from a gang of thugs.
