Summary: Using non-professional actors, this film follows the Gospel of Matthew to tell the story of the birth, life, teachings and death on the cross of Jesus Christ. There was no script except the Bible itself. The narrative portions are voiced by "Jesus Christ." It is presented almost as a cinema-verité documentary and without the glossy coating of the Church and Hollywood.
