Summary: Bud Davis, a Texas oil refinery worker, meets and falls in love with Sissy at Gilley's, a popular country-western nightclub in Houston. However, their relationship becomes endangered when a mechanical bull-riding ex-convict schemes to steal Sissy's heart.
