Nash, William H.

Summary: Maple City, Michigan, was once known as Peg Town, so named because the original settlement was known as the home of a shoe-peg factory built by William H. Crowell in the 1870s. Volume contains an early history of the settlement, major businesses, social clubs, and prominent persons. There are a number of illustrations within, mostly of building exteriors.
