Summary: The lives of both the family and the servants in the London townhouse at 165 Eaton Place are followed. Upstairs lives Richard Bellamy, the head of the household, and also a member of Parliament. His wife is a member of the titled aristocracy. Downstairs is Hudson, the Scottish butler who directs and guides the other servants concerning their tasks and proper places.
